It is said, "men are from mars, women are from Venus". One begins to wonder, "why are they on earth?" The question had been left concretely unanswered for millennia, with each gender having to cope with the forte and flaws of the other.
Men and women have been in some battle against each other, seldom not knowing what their "common ground" connector between the two. However, and quite sadly, it is becoming conspicuous, over time, the relationship between men and women is predicated on "gender War". "War of the sexes", so to speak.
Some would say "Silent weapons for quiet wars" is usually the outcome between men and women, particularly from a relationship standpoint. The lack of understanding of, and consequent appropriation and reconciliation of the strengths and weakness of both sexes have resulted in subtle wars in which both sexes have to contend with.
"Gender War" . That's a very common term in many social circles. What is it about? A Battle of freedom, survival, procreation, legacy purpose? Let's dive in!
Women are biologically wired to survive and procreate. Those are their primal instincts. However, men are wired to establish legacy, purpose and freedom of self. The war, therefore sets in, when relationships between men and women are established.
On the frontline of Gender War, women are equipped with the weapons of survival, procreation and control of the other gender's freedom. However, men are equipped with the tools of legacy, purpose and freedom.
How would women get to win the war? It obviously simple! Engaging in relationships or getting married to men positions advantageously to win the war. Given that survival is one of the primal instincts of women, it becomes easier for her to carry out the second biological instinct: procreation. Having executed those, there has to be commitment on the part of men who had agreed to be in such union. Consequently, men's freedom is being replaced by commitment and overall family attention
Statistically, throughout recorded history, women who were married or in relationships (even as mistresses or concubines) birthed more children than those who were single.
How would men get to win the battle? It is a cold, hard response most men can't afford to see through the tough reality. It's a simple but hard nut to crack answer. It's simply working away! Arthur Schopenhauer said, "A man is himself, so far he's alone". Men enjoy freedom when they are alone.
Relationship with women is expensive to men because of what comes with it. In other words, the control of men's freedom in terms of provision, protection and securing other forms of commitment are being exercised. Being single is expensive for women because it would likely strip them their primal instincts to survive and usher in the next generation.
It is fascinating to know how women have been wining this gender War since time immemorial. Women succeeding in the gender War is through men, sex and submission. The factors are a statement of how they achieve their survival and procreation feats, alongside being able to control men's freedom, though creating make-belief scenarios of men in charge or winning.
Gender War has always been, is and will be the case as long as men and women aren't comprehending why they exist on earth.
