I, Chimezie Benedict Ihekuna, hereby seek representation of my books, screenplays, short scripts, short script collections and audio drama podcasts at this time. My screenplays and short script collections were adapted from my bank books. My audio drama podcasts, A Taste Of Poison and The Conflict, adapted from my two short scripts, were showcased and aired at the Radio Drama Festival in Canterbury, UK (2023). The Conflict was nominated for The Audience Award, organized by the same event.

I am seeking representation in terms of physical distribution of the book titles in the North American, European, the UK, Australia, possibly Asia, Africa  (with the exception of Southern Africa). I have an agent representing my books throughout the Southern African territories (having the titles in libraries, schools, literary events, offices, physical bookstores, and other relevant physical channels). If you are opened to it, I can contact my publisher to discuss this arrangement. Also, I would like to inquire if you represent subsidiary rights (language translation rights) for published-in-English books. I will discuss with my publisher about it, if you are opened to such activity.

I've always aspired to be an author, since I was a child. However, it wasn't until my early twenties, precisely, at age 22, that I took interest in writing. I was studying Mechanical engineering at the university. My desire had always to have my name in print: a book published in my name. In my early writing years, I received  letters of rejection from publishers and literary agents I contacted. To say I was rejected by 200 literary professionals within the first five years of my writing journey was an understatement. I would keep trying other publications and got rejected severally. I chose not to quit, kept on keeping on by networking, interacting with other writers, reading more books. It was until 2015 I was able to get my name printed in the book, The World We Live In. Subsequently, I have published several books. Based on my books, the scripts and screenplay adaptations have been made..One of my childhood dreams was to become an author. That dream of being an author took a flight in which it's greatness is thriving... That's how important it is to me.

My writings cut across notable genres of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama and memoir. I was able to coin the word G A.N.G.S.T.A.R to mean Generally Appreciating Notable Genres by Stating Their Applicable Relevance. Therefore, my screenplays and short script collections are motion-picture depictions of what have been stated. The screenplays and short script collections are an adaptation of my books. Some of the books have been published; others are to be published (two book titles in a month for the next one year)

The EEI identities 
My voice and perspective of writing is aimed at the EEI identities. EEI stands for Entertainment, Education and Inspiration. My writings are  aimed to entertain, enlighten and inspire readers and possibly, movie viewers

The E.D.G E concept 
The essential components in my writings is the E.D.G.E concept. It stands for Empowerment.Development. General.Ethics. My writings assert the E.D.G.E concept are the frontiers of knowledge. My works are to speak words of empowerment, development or advancement and general ethics, that is, character.


Other than writing, I do voice overs and voice acting. As for voice overs, I have demos as proof. I do jingles and other advert commercials. I'm a voice actor. My involvement as a talent, voice actor, playing the role of Dr Samson, is seen the micro-budget movie, One Man's Deep Words, an adaptation of my novel, which has the same title. The production is almost completed. I'm also the co-producer. It was a phone call conversation. I'm a speaker who can talk on social issues, ranging from personal, relationship and political matters. I have a collection of audio commentaries, "Reflective Thinking". I also handle spoken word narrations. I have three poetic/spoken word narrations: Out Of The Box, If and My Submission. I'm also a trader who delights in selling materials, given their commercial value, to consumer markets with the aim of making profits.
