Is that legitimate?

A few months back, a print-media body, claiming to be Canada's National Post  Newspaper, emailed me for an opportunity to showcase my book, "One Man's Deep Words" on their platform. At first, I was excited. However, when I inquired further what it would require, the fee attached did stagger me and consequently went off balance of follow-up.

Though I learned any media platform asking for money to showcase one's literary wares signals a potential red flag, I would like you to read through the email and lend me your thoughts.
