Alvarez, a smart and very ambitious young man, had worked diligently for the drug cartel, MAFIA, since his youth. Determined that he will, through his two-year-old son, Carlos, run the cartel, he went the extra-mile to see that his obstructions-men higher than he was in the ladder of the cartel’s hierarchy were ‘uprooted’ to make way for his son to become the figure-head in order to carry out his agenda. From the peak of his infanthood to his typical youngster years, Alvarez nurtured Carlos in the light of the business and to the best of his knowledge showed him the connects associated with the business. He knew he had a vague knowledge of the connects that came along with the business, despite his long service at MAFIA. Carlos would later find out…
The MAFIA click, as it’s called by insiders, operates its drug peddling and smuggling during the night hours, using unconnected individuals to different parts of the world. From North America to the Caribbean to South America, Europe to Africa, Asia to Australia, this cartel had all its connections and markets in a complex flow chart that could be understood by the founding fathers; Sergio, Rodriguez and Santos. All employees paid to them their returns, only to have a thirty- percent commission.
Carlos’ father was on the way to reaching his aspiration as on e of the members overhead him say to his girlfriend his intent to up-turn the remainder of the fraternity. It was on his way home from work that the MAFIANS organized a successful hit on Alvarez. Alas, like a chip off the old block, Carlos was twice a carbon copy of his father as he was taught intensively all the tricks needed to thrive in the business and above all, become what he wanted him to become-the very head. His father ‘s untimely death spurred him to knowing more into the intricacies of what made MAFIA edged its contemporaries. With his amazing instincts and intellect, Carlos would become what his father saw ahead of him, when he was with him.
Meanwhile, Carlos, owing to the relationship that existed between his father and the founding fathers, was able to form a friendship bond with Santos’ Daughter, Maria. Maria was an easy-going female personality with sincere intention and detested most what her father did for a living. Knowing that the intricacies lied in the hands of the founding fathers and Maria had ample knowledge as to where the ‘treasures’, exclusive to each of them, best kept, Carlos’ opportunistic approach help solve the puzzle of not only having his pound of flesh over his deceased father but also cut-corners to become the man that single-handedly call the shots. Fortunately, Maria handed over to him the documents that would implicate all insiders of the MAFIA-click with the aim of dealing with her father and other founding members for wanting to continue the business cartel, despite countless warnings and advice. Maria would leave everybody,including Carlos because he was into what she detested and never be found again.
The documents contained the same classified organogram of the functionality of each cartel member, with the founding fathers being heads. Each documents handed to Carlos by Maria contained the signed names of Santos, Rodriguez and Sergio and the same organogram. This gave Carlos the lead as to knowing how to become the ‘resultant’ drug lord of the MAFIA-click. All was set: the plot to overthrow the conservatives; the founding fathers of MAFIA-click. Although it took them ten years of well-marshaled plans to execute, it was a success, indeed!
Being a sociable person, Santiago with his subordinates, ‘boys’, as he called them, sought for the hands of able-bodied men from Jamaica, Italy, Columbia and some African countries to join the movement, assuring them of mouth-watery rewards. On the other hand, Carlos, using the fortune acquired from his father’s will, imported weapons from western Europe and mapped out strategies to wipe out the links and persons of Sergio, Rodriguez and Santos out of the cartel, based on the information Santiago gave him: their meeting place, the best time to get them unarmed and other information. In a symbiotic manner, Carlos and Santiago worked together to hit the bull’s eye. Santiago ensured that his family stayed in anonymity from the rest of the cartel’s members, including Alvarez, his close friend and a would-be drug lord. They were ready to fish out the trio and send them to Mother Earth.
They sought out the easiest person, the founding father, and his clicks to eliminate. And that person, based on Santiago’s knowledge of them, was his boss, Sergio. Santiago, following the footsteps of his boss, hired men from Columbia, Italy, Jamaica, Liberia, Cameroon, and Vietnam to join forces in order to put an end to his boss’ partly owned cartel. This would necessitate a two-year plan for a successful attack to be accomplished. According to Santiago, Carlos was made to understand that they usually unarmed when they, Sergio and his men, unwind at the outskirts of the city. This would for the next eight years led to orchestrations by Carlos, Santiago and his men that will not only terminate the men working for Rodriguez and Santos but also Santiago’s men and sadly, cause Carlos a life-time partial stroke.
Next was the termination of Rodriguez. Carlos and Santiago knew it will be hard nut to crack, considering how well armed, alert and equipped his men were. The men that worked for Rodriguez were driven-out ex-soldiers and werevery skillful snipers. Carlos had the Hobson’s choice than to win Adriano, his personal assistant, who was in the same way he won Santiago. Though faced with the rift Adriano had with his late father, Carlos was head-bent in healing the old wounds. After much bitter expressions by Adriano, he, on paying adept attention to Carlos’ proposal to win him over, gave in. His long-awaited dream was about seeing light of the day. Carlos got to know that Adriano was not really in personal good terms with his boss. Although he wanted to leave the cartel, Carlos’ manipulative Mind Control tactic was successful-he was able to convince Adriano to stay put.
As time progressed, he deemed it fit to unearth Rodriguez’s can of worms that will spill the weaknesses of his partly owned cartel to the advantage of Carlos. Carlos had promised Adriano, just as he promised Santiago, that he will become his sole personal assistant, without both parties actually knowing what was in Carlos’ eight-year marshaled plan and with the intent of secretly wiping them out. Santiago and Adriano would later find out when their heads are chopped off. The four –year plan was on the way with Santiago and Adriano, operating from different perspectives but in resonance with what Carlos’ orchestration.
The intelligence information by Adriano and Santiago pointed to the same thing: “Rodriguez and his men or ‘loyalists’, as he addressed them, will surprisingly be taken by surprise if we could come face to face with them, although it will be herculean. Simply, we must parade greater number of men because the higher our men, the better our chances of emerging victorious over Rodriguez and his men”. With the support of Adriano's men,those he eventually won over from the hands of Rodriguez, by virtue of Carlos’ Mind Control skill and survivors of Santiago’s men, Carlos, more familiar with Santiago, told Sergio’s ex-personal assistant that he was about recruiting men from third-world countries. Unknown to him, he was just putting Santiago on. The same trick he devised on Adriano. Adriano and Santiago had no idea that they both ‘blindly’ worked for Carlos and were deceived because of their greed-both individuals had one intention: to become the drug lord of MAFIA-click by eliminating Carlos. But they never knew Carlos would out-think them. Carlos paid handsomely Adriano and Santiago at different times and locations to look after their families, promising them he would let them know when is done accomplishing his mission. They agreed, thinking the headship of the cartel belonged to them, not knowing that a living in a fool’s paradise would be their lot.
Carlos and his ‘own’ men knowing the hide-outs of his opposition took the battle to them. There was an intense open when both rivals engaged in a face-to-face open fire, leaving about over two hundred people feared dead. Amongst the dead, 90% were identified as Rodriguez’s men. Only 10% were discovered belonged to Carlos! A few of Carlos’ men sustained minor injuries during the shoot-out. Rodriguez was killed during the gun shoot-out, leaving the remaining survivors at the mercy of Carlos. Carlos offered them the choice of being killedshould they refuse to accept his offer to join his force or be a part of his force without being killed. Die-hard, Rodriguez’s foremost royalist, declined and paid the price with his life. As promised, he told Adriano and Santiago about his victory but admitted he had a show-down with Rodriguez and his men.
The last-phase of the other four-year plan was at it again. This time, it will involve more of psychological warfare because Santos was surrounded by seemingly insurmountable men-all of them were high-ranking Ninja men whose services were solicited by Santos, since they were kids at the hands of their corrupt Master Ninja Kim II. He had just only seven men and a personal bodyguard, “the ‘7’men of valour” as he preferred calling them, who were carrying out the operations from his end to ensure that the cartel is up and running. The only ‘but’ in the lives of “the ‘7’ men of valour” was that seven of them were chronic womanizers and his personal bodyguard was a junkie. This information was presented to Carlos by Adriano who got it from Alberto because they have been close friends since their youth years. Indeed, Carlos used this information to his advantage…

The strippers, heavily paid a huge sum of money by Carlos, were awaiting their arrival-the time they unwind-period where they seek pleasure from the stripers who serviced them. Without any suspicion, they allowed their favorite erotic dancers almost stripped them naked roaming their bare bodies, including their chests with the use of the rings on their middle fingers. They did as instructed. After some couple of hours, ‘protector’, who called all phone lines belonging to Santos’ men, got to know they were killed on their way to Santos’ home. Autopsy reports revealed that they were ‘infected’ by a carcinogenic substance on their skin. Santos and his bodyguard went to the strip club where they partied, only to be told by the management, who had no clue of their actual contacts that the strippers who serviced them have gone into hiding. This was the beginning of doom for the duo…
Immediately, Carlos informed differently Alberto and Santiago, who were with their families, about the development. He needed the services of Alberto. Alberto was closer to ‘protector’ than Santiago. This made Carlos’ tasks a lot easier- assigning Alberto deliver as an apology for not coming to the mass burial of Santos’ men protector’s favorite drink-Don Simon. Unknown to Alberto, he had no idea the drink given to him contained cyanide and coming to Santos’ home would be tantamount to his sudden departure from Mother Earth. Carlos had this all planned out. Alberto, a greedy man who sought to terminate Carlos’ life to become the sole Drug lord of the MAFIA-click, camouflaged as being remorseful over the death of Santos’ his men and apologized deeply with crocodile tears shed to his boss for just leaving without prior notice. After his apology was accepted, ‘protector’, in the presence of some of the hired men of Santos passionately took the Don Simon drink away from Alberto, not knowing he just dug his grave.
Without much ado, Alberto called it a day and was set to deliver the ‘good news’ when ‘protector’ was observed puking out blood and in seconds, died. The hired men, without any second thought, figured Alberto as the man responsible for his death and with the consent of Santos, went after him with their guns. Finally, they caught up with Alberto as he was about mounting his car and surprisingly pulled their triggers at him. Before he could alter a word from his mouth, Alberto was speedily sent to the world beyond by the overflow of bullets hitting all parts of his body. Carlos got to see Alberto’s corpse at La Adieu Park: place where people who worked with or for the MAFIA-click where buried. The hired men, five in number, saw that Santos was all alone and knew that this was their only chance to amass for themselves the wealth owned by Santos. They got to where Santos was sleeping sprayed the living day light out of him with innumerable rounds of bullets. They got what they wanted, including the house sold it and divided the proceeds even amongst themselves to a sportsman who had been eyeing the sale of the house for years and fled afterwards without any traces.
The field became plain for his domination. All Carlos figured out to do was to call for a celebration, inviting Santiago to come celebrate with him. He did succeed in bringing Santiago to his place of residence. Santiago excitedly hurried to his place and on arrival, he was very surprised that Carlos and he were the only individuals to celebrate, no one else! Santiago quickly smelt a rat about Carlos’ motive. But the smarter Carlos brought out his gun and shot him seven times on his chest. His sitting room, where the supposed celebration ought to have taken place, was like a stream flowing with red water of blood and a lifeless corpse. Carlos carefully carried his wrapped corpse, placed it inside the boot of his car and quickly drove off in the middle of the night from his remote Galvez home to La Adieu to deposit it there. He returned home very jubilant but realized he had a breathing disorder that was led to his partial stroke he would live with for life.
A sole-proprietor drug lord suffering from partial stroke, Carlos tried all he could to find where Maria could be. But all went in vain as there were no clues as to where she was. He only got to know twenty years later that Maria was killed in a car crash ten years ago. After recovering from the setback, Carlos instructed that his subordinates, who he saw as small fries, to address him as The Drug Lord of MAFIA-Click Inc.
