The Evil Genius

The Evil Genus

This is 2:00 a.m. I will wake you up when it’s dawn. Do have a sound sleep and prepare for today’s teaching at the Temple. I have to go observe the Rites of Meditation through the nights to get prepared for the day’s work. I ought not to disturb your sleep at this time. But the burden to tell you this truth would not let me be.

Park: Thank you, Master Jin! It’s no problem at all! Thanks for your teaching. I will like to become a great scholar of trickery, hypnosis, world geography and religion so that I can make my mark in history.

Jin: That’s good to know! But you have to be careful not to lose your head in the process!

Park: I won’t master!

Jin: Alright, let me go. Bye!

Park Sung, Korean-American, had nursed the ambition of making the Guinness Book of World Records as the only man who had traveled on a world religious tour since the age of ten. To do justice to that, he lived with his uncle, Jin Sung, a trickster and hypnotic, in Seoul, South Korea to learn trickery and Hypnosis. Interested in religious books, he read extensively the major world religions, their doctrines and conflicting interests and was taught world geography by his uncle. He would, in future, use the acquired knowledge to his advantage to accomplish his ambition.

Having lived with his uncle for seven years, learning trickery, hypnosis and acquiring extensively the ‘Dos’ and ‘Don’ts’ of many world religions and geography of the world., he decided to form an organization known as the P.A.G.A.N. club. The Acrostic, as he puts it, stood for People Abolishing Godliness And Norms. In time, what he single-handedly initiated had attracted a number of Korean youths. Within four years of its establishment, the P.A.G.A.N club had extended its popularity to other parts of Asia.

At 21, he had started teaching his students about the creed, mission and vision statements of the club without unveiling the secrets behind the popularity and huge followership; trickery and hypnosis. With the knowledge he impacted in them about the conflicts of interests associated with world’s religions, Park and his students were set to embark on a world religious tour. He so brainwashed his students that they took hook, line and sinker the essence of the movement; enable their teacher, Park, make history, leaving their issues unattended. He also had a hidden intent; to amass fortunes for himself. Gaining the whole world was his ulterior motive!

Knowing well the negative dynamics of hypnosis, he used the power to murder his uncle who was asleep. With his uncle eliminated, he thought, nobody would know the secrets behind his exploits. Park tried to get to the finish line of his Guinness Book of World Records ambition but something happened.

The targeted religions by the P.A.G.A.N were Buddhism, Hinduism, Confucianism, Taoism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Traditional African worship, Scientology, Relativism. According to Park, he reasoned that they are not only the most popular world popular religions but also financially buoyant set-ups, going by what the extensive research he had made on them .This would mean traveling round the world! Ambition to be achieved! He started off in other parts of Asia.

For the next ten years, Park and his students-cum-disciples were making the rounds on the pages of many respected newspapers and magazines. Their exploits and successes in convincing major religious authorities for financial support to help establish a World Religious Center at the heart of Seoul that would unite all religions and put to a permanent halt all observed differences were gaining attention. Japan, North Korea, China, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Mongolia were the countries Park and his disciples traveled and made their organization a household name. The government authorities in those countries joined forces to make the vision a reality by contributing, in total, a mind-blowing sum of a hundred and fifty billion dollars!

Getting to the temples, synagogues and other worship centers in those Asian countries the P.A.G.A.N members traveled to, they, courtesy of Park’s hypnotic eye-to-eye contact and trickster disposition of presenting to concerned religious authorities a prototype of the World Religious Center, broke barriers of critical questioning by scholars, financiers, religious experts and government officials. Their mission in Asia was a huge success!

With its fame noised abroad, the same feat was repeated in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and other African-Arabian allies. They easily went into the mosques and convinced the clerics about their mission as a way to solving world’s religious crisis. With the support of the government and other private business men and women contributed in all a sum of two hundred and eighty-seven billion dollars. With Park’s trickster attitude and hypnotic ‘grace’, the P.A.G.A.N’s agenda was achieved in those Arab countries after eight years.

Next was Europe. With few restrictions to gaining access into some countries, the organization made its mark on the English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Swiss, Swedish and Dutch soils. The churches, scientology centers, places of relativistic activities all pledged their support to help establish the World Religious Center in Seoul with a total sum of a hundred and eighty billion Euros.Of course, Park’s hypnosis, trickery and energies from his passionate disciples saw the success of the movement in Europe. After six years of intense efforts by the P.A.G.A.N club, the goal was achieved.

Africa was the next destination. For the next four years, the organization easily gained spread in terms of publicity and recognition, though there was no structure on ground. With the same feats in Europe, Asia and the Arab world, he broke the barriers of traditional conservatism, cohesion of segregated Christian churches and upheld values by Islamic worship centers when he told the respected authorities of the centers the needed of setting up a World Religion Center in Seoul as a way of putting to an end world’s religious crisis. From West Africa to East Africa, From North Africa to South Africa, a sum of two hundred billion dollars was contributed to the actualization of the P.A.G.A.N’s plan. Again, Park’s trickery and hypnotic power did it!

Within the next four years, the Australian and South American religious bodies invited for the P.A.G.A.N club the same feat. By the two bodies, a total sum of three hundred billion dollars was contributed to facilitate the setting up of the building that worth by the club’s estimation, 1.5 Trillion dollars. Along the line, something happened that brought a twist to Park’s ambition.

During the course of making things happen in South America and Australia, Lin, one of his disciples and one of the victim of Park’s hypnosis, was asked a question that he couldn’t answer by an Australian religious cleric: “Why can’t we have WRC in all countries of the world, why South Korea?” Lin referred the question to Park. Park’s hypnotic response arrested other questions the cleric intended asking but gradually brought to an abrupt end his ambition.

According to Jin, his late uncle, during his early years of learning hypnosis, he was told never to answer directly any implicating question from any suspecting persons or from someone who he had hypnotized. “The penalty, he said ‘is loss of control and eventually, death”. However, after he had answered the question brought to him by Lin, he knew it was too late to cry because his control has been lost and his time was ticking…

The North American religious bodies had invited the P.A.G.A.N organization to repeat the same feats in other countries. Park said to his disciples: “It’s a good thing that you’ve been a part of my success through the years. I’d like to thank you for your support and contribution to make the P.A.G.A.N movement a reality. At this time, however, I won’t be with you in North America, I mean the US and Canada because I want to see to the money made through the years in the organization’s account as the account officer wants my attention in South Korea. I’ll let you know the progress made, financially in due course. Bye for Now”.

He boarded a flight headed to the Seoul International Airport. Park knew he had lost total control but was able to use the left-over hypnotic ‘dose’ to make all his disciples believe in his lies without a single question. He was in Seoul to withdraw the billions of dollars in the organization’s account to Vietnam and undergo a constructive facial surgery and adopt a new name, Sung Lee. He fore-saw what would happened to his disciples when they are in North America. What he saw ahead was what took place!

Lin led the two-hundred P.A.G.A.N members to the United States. Both the United States’ and Canada’s religious bodies agree to meet at the Madison Square Garden where they would discuss with the group. The members were received and entertained by their hosts. Then, the business of the day set in. Lin explained their movement round the world. It was done on him that he never knew what he had been doing all through the years! Before eyes could bleak, all other members gained their consciousness! And before long, they were all arrested by the NYPD for world crime offence! Somehow, Lin confessed: “we have been hypnotized for over thirty years by Park who is currently in South Korea”.

Now in their middle-age years, they had nowhere to go. The American government freed the Koreans and put them under its Benefit Scheme for the Less Privileged Senior Citizens from Foreign Lands. With all sophisticated intelligence in-built, all roads led to South Korea to fish out the world criminal, Park.

Park, having undergone a change-of-face surgical operation, suffered from multiple internal complications of the face. Although he had transferred all the money to Vietnam, he was faced with a death-threatening problem. It became worse as it affected other parts of his body; chest, skin, brain and heart. It got to a point he became tired of seeing Jun Dee, his personal doctor because his health condition worsened. Seating in deep thought, in the comfort of a three-hundred billion-dollar mansion, Sung Dee thought it wise that he took his life to avoid the shame of being exposed to the world like a common criminal.

He wrote on his suicide note: “In all my years, I’ve always aspired to become The Evil Genius of all time in order to be on the Guinness Book of World Records as the first man to embark on a world’s religious tour. My hidden intention was create wealth for myself. Through hypnosis, trickery I learnt from Uncle Jin, whom I later killed, I was on the verge of accomplishing my life dream. However, the evil I committed is hunting me! It’s a pity I’d have to end my life this way. I want the whole world, Lin and my disciples to forgive me. Goodnight world, for I’m taking a silent leap in the dark.”

The Intelligence Alliance investigating Park’s case told the American government and other countries who have been deceived by Park’s religious trickery that he had committed suicide. To confirm this, the South Korean intelligence unit, together with some representatives of American intelligence officers and other countries Park and his team deceived, went to his Seoul home to find his corpse.

Later, his account officer was arrested and sentenced to twenty years imprisonment for being an accomplice. The money was recovered and part of it was refunded to the countries affected and the rest was used build, using Park’s prototype a monument in Seoul known as The Park’s Religious Plan.
