The Pattern Recognition Of Nigerian Government Against Nigerians
The Nigerian environment is presently an abode where greatness is shunned and mediocrity is given loud ovation. It is a society where people with low intellect, riffraff attitudes and highly-mischievous proclivities are elevated to upper echelons of society while those who are of integrity, intellect and advancement-minded are relegated to almost-at-rock-bottom positions of society and purposely patterned to live life under the mercy of the former. The country, known as Nigeria, is, in all fairness and with due respect, truthfully satanic!
It is a country where aspirations can't leave to see the light of day. A country. It is a country where creativity and innovation aren't necessarily embraced or welcomed. It is a nation where service to humanity is rarely and genuinely acknowledged. It is a society where good people are seen as weaklings and consequently taken undue advantage of. It is an habitation where well-meaning people have their lives cut short! It is a presently unhealthy environment where people are clamoring to leave in the quest of searching for greener pastures overseas. It is a country whose people, those with great minds, illuminate countries they find themselves through mind-blowing exploits but in itself, a pathetic groping-in-the-dark concern.
Nigeria is home to all kinds of shadiness. It is a place where criminals are given accolades in recognition of their "accomplishments". It is a conducive environment for people with nothing to offer society to thrive and even materially prosper; Nigeria is a good breeding ground for mediocrity. It is a land where evil is allowed to prevail. After all, that the reverse spelling of the word "evil" is "live", which marks the nature of existence of the Nigerian society of today. It is a place where poverty is accommodated via weapon of "too-much" religiosity. It is an environment that has people whose "success" could be traced to shady political practices, ritualism and other forms of robbery. Ironically, it is a location where people who are said to be proponents of evil works, experience longevity of living at the expense of good people! Sadly, Nigeria has been sighted as a typical example of how corruption works!
It is fast becoming a conspiracy theory (or better yet, a pattern recognition) to see Nigeria as a state where for the most part:
Education was designed to invert knowledge.
Religion was figured out to invert spirituality.
Science was fashioned to invert truth.
Modern medicine as practiced was purposely put in place to invert health.
Mainstream media was contracted to invert information
Law ( "The Constitution", as it is called) was ensured to invert justice.
The government of the day was in place to invert the freedom of its citizens, despite being in a democratic dispensation!
Religion in Nigeria is a demonstration of division, taking advantage of the poor, and never-ending contradictions of beliefs. Though Nigeria is constitutionally a secular state, religiosity is received with warm embrace. Christians and Muslims engage in never-ending arguments, claiming concretely unfounded superiority by identifying flaws related to their practices. It most times lead to fights, wars and unnecessary tensions in society. There are conflicts among Christians of different denominations and Muslims of different sects. In Nigeria, there are more churches and mosques than employment places. Nigerians are not only one of the most religious people in the world but arguably the most praying people. What is fortunate is Nigerian government would go to China, US and other irreligious and less-praying countries to seek loans and aids from them! On the other hand, spirituality, which most Nigerians seem not to understand, is oneness, togetherness or bond. An awareness that all are connected to the universal consciousness simply having different experiences.
The education system in Nigeria has successfully produced an increasing army of graduates ( some would say "half-baked graduates) who not only outnumber the job spaces available in the labour market but also almost ultimately become operators of machines rather than self-thinkers. It goes for the few who make it into the labour market. The society is filled with an array of increasing unemployed people. In fact, people go to higher institutions to be finish worse than they were before enrollment. A character of societal indoctrination would be introduced as they go through the fore-walls of the education system at that level. Simply, they become graduates who are sadly de-educated!
It is on a sad note what mainstream media in Nigeria has done to change the narrative of information Nigerians need to know about their history and realities surrounding current happenings in the country. Print, television and radio outlets have engaged the masses in ways information worth having is hardly gotten. This has been the pattern for years, since independence. It would take some Nigerians who could perceive the conspiracy theory to explore other media avenues to find out what they really need to know about their country. Nigerians themselves give preferences to those who studied abroad, particularly in IVy-league universities in the US, known institutions of higher learning in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Asia, and other parts of Europe and certain parts of Africa. There is hardly any Nigerian university that could be found in the top 50 universities in the world today!
Modern medical practices in Nigeria leaves so much to be desired. More often than not, Nigerians die of the complications resulting from drugs administered than diagnosed diseases! Granted, Nigerians have resorted to prescribing to self-medication. However, they die of the side effects of the drugs given to them by the qualified or quack medical practitioners than the self-recognized or medically identified illness. It is believed in some quarters of society a typical Nigerian hospital operates like a roadside car mechanic workshop. When a car, for instance, is taken for repair or some servicing by such a mechanic, such a vehicle never remains the same. This would prompt the owner to keep visiting--almost regularly---the roadside mechanic for further repairs! The same applies to most Nigerian hospitals today. That is the reason Nigerian leaders mostly opt for treatment abroad.
Science in Nigeria has become nothing to write home about. With the Nigerian government less-prioritizing research, technology and innovation, it becomes a concern or an excuse for some technocrats on why science in Nigeria is not in the best position to unravel truths about pertinent developments. The result is having more of, on-paper, scientists than hands-on people who would want to put science in practice. Where are the facilities to work on?! The best of Nigerian scientists are in the US, UK, Canada and other Western countries whose science and technology give room for more contributions of foreigners. Philip Emeagweali and Gabriel Oyibo are examples of Nigerians accomplishing huge scientific feats.
"The last hope of the common man is the court". That is a popular saying in Nigeria. Alas, that same court is where the rich shows how the law can be manipulated in their favor against the common man's last hope. The laws in Nigeria have always been made to protect the interests of the wealthy, rich and influential. The country known as Nigeria makes justice affordable with money. Nigeria has always been an interest where the judiciary, legislative and lastly, the executive, respective makers, interpreters and executioners of laws, are compromised by being paid in serving injustice to the masses while safeguarding the interests of the powers that be! Nigerian laws are, though on paper, an essential part of the justice system, but for the most part, the realistic inversion of justice. Simply, the laws in Nigeria are mostly Injustice-serving to the interest of the common Nigerian when it comes to dealing with any issue connected with any man of influence or means in society. On a lighter note, cash rules almost everything in the Nigerian justice system.
The Nigerian government has successfully boxed in the collective consciousness of an overwhelming number of unsuspecting Nigerians to mediocrity. Businesses run by Nigerians are flourishing due to massive ignorance of Nigerians but foreign businesses in the country are leaving due to shady policies and severe economic hardships they cannot accommodate. The negatively satanic orientation of Nigeria is made salient on pattern recognition (conspiracy theories) asserting how wrong the Nigerian system has been, is and will always be, that what is left of it isn't right and what should be right isn't what is left of it!
