The Woman in Politics

Brazil is indeed in need of a leader who is not only able to make promises but able to put his words into action. As we know, we have been deceived by our previous leaders who take advantage of our ignorance for their selfish political interest. Since the days of our fore-fathers, there have been deceptions in the politics of our great nation, Brazil. Before the elections begin, your so-called aspiring leaders go all the way to see that they win, even if it means paying you, the people, to vote them in. With the cheap money given to you, you become their political slave. They order you to vote for them. And when you do so and become eventually elected, they pursue their selfish political ends at the expense of your welfare as masses who voted them in. This had been the status quo, from the get-go!

However, that has to stop right now! We refuse to be deceived! We refuse to listen to the cliché of propaganda our leaders have invented! We are tired of corruption! Now is the time for you, the Brazilian people, to vote your right candidate. Vote for Rodriguez Mata! Vote for The People’s Party!

Why should you vote for me?’ A question you may ask. As we all know, political success is measured by the accomplishments people had attained at the various offices held through the years. A man is measured by the strength of his action and how he keeps to his words. Of course, I have, over the years, as Minister of Information and governor of Sao Paulo, provided standard infrastructure such as good roads, pipe-borne water, equipping hospitals and other medical centers with world standard facilities, introduction of industries for employment of youths, subsidy housing schemes for civil servants, welfare benefits for the unemployed, installation of up-to-date communication impetus to foster easy communication in my state. With these in focus, if i am elected as your president, you will see for yourself how magnified the accomplishment I made as minister and governor at federal levels.

Once again, I thank you for your encouragement, support and participation. As you applaud your hands in appreciation and advance of what I will do when I become your president, vote for Rodriguez Mata, vote for People’s Party! A brief speech recently made by Rodriguez Mata, the people’s candidate and a presidential aspirant at Martinez National Stadium in Sao Paulo.

We, as women and mothers are gathered under the umbrella of The Empowered Party to solicit for your votes in the forth coming election. In all the years of politicking in Brazil, there is yet a woman leader that championed the affairs of the country. Under the clutches of gender inequality, rape, abuse and other anti-feminine approach mechanisms, we have been enslaved by self-centered men.

As they say, “what a man can do, a woman can do, even better”, I, Gloria Garcia, have come to put to full stop to women slavery and accomplish more than what our previous men leaders have made. Although I have not been given a chance to exert my political intentions, I am here with utmost confidence to assert my zeal to promote women empowerment, women liberation and gender equality. I am the solution to the challenges Brazilian women face daily.

Women have been the bedrock of social stability. Right from the home-front to the national level, we have been instrumental towards family building and a back-bone behind national development. Without us, the living part of the world’s eco-system will be off balance. Yet, our men counterparts do not get to appreciate our continued efforts to make the world better. In fact, we are relegated to the zone of slavery. Today, that has to stop! We must take a giant stride to leave foot prints in the sands of time in the history of Brazilian politics.

This will start from me having the majority of your votes. Women, are you ready for this great change? Vote for Gloria Garcia! Vote for The Empowerment party! A thunderous ovation and re-sounding “you have my vote” expressions were made in response to the speech she gave in an open gathering in Salvador.

Rodriguez Mata and Gloria Garcia were the two most qualified candidates after intense primaries took place that disqualified other candidates in their respective parties. The People’s Party has its ideology based on pragmatism, technocracy, discipline, right judgment in affairs concerning nation building, equity and altruism. The Empowerment Party, on the other hand, otherwise known as The Status Quo, has its ideology on the fact that any aspirant will get a slot of representing the party at any level of government on two criteria: pay the price and do whatever the system says, even at the expense of the masses. The Empowerment Party was controlled by top-ranking government officials including former presidents, oil merchants and top-guns in Brazilian business industries while the majority of the Brazilian people and middle-class men and women were a part of The People’s Party. Gloria would soon be the first female leader in Brazil-this came with a certain price she paid for- a price that would mar her at the end.

The die was cast. The presidential election was at its peak when Rodriguez Mata and Gloria Garcia casted their votes for the parties that they represented. At the beginning and towards the end of the counting of the casted votes, after the voting process was completed, as reported by all radio and local television networks to Brazilian people who painstakingly voted for the candidates of their choice, Rodriguez’s vote surpassed Gloria’s by 654 votes. Suddenly, it was announced that Gloria’s vote exceeded Rodriguez’s by 1,934 votes. The people were shocked to their marrows.

Alas, Gloria Garcia became the first female president in Brazil. Though the people’s reaction spoke ill of her victory, it didn’t change the fact that in the next two months, Carlos Silva Fernando, the current president, would hand over power to the president-elect. Celebration all the way for Gloria and the rest members of The Empowerment Party!

Rodriguez Mata’s health condition became worse after he heard that he lost the election that he taught he’d won. He was admitted for six months to receive treatment in Lisbon, Portugal. The news about Rodriguez’s state of health got to Gloria Garcia who had become Brazilian president, a month ago. In an exclusive interview with Antonio Santos, a famous presenter on Fernando TV, Gloria was asked how she felt being the first female Brazilian president, her plans for the nation and how she felt about Rodriguez’s state of health.

She replied: “Indeed, it’s a lifetime aspiration come true! I’m fulfilled! I’m leaving out my dreams. This is the happiest day of my life on earth! Brazil will be a heaven-on-earth inhabitation. I’ll make Brazil world’s number one tourist attraction. I see Rodriguez as a colleague and patriot whose efforts will be needed to make Brazil become a country of our dreams. A man has his will but a woman will always have her way. This is my motivation since my youthful years. I am The Woman in Politics!”

At this time, Rodriguez watched live the event on his bed at the Lisbon Medical Hospital, as televised by Porto TV, a local station in Portugal. He would use her motivation against her as a test of her medicine in future.

Instead of anticipated selfless service to the people, she ruled Brazil with an iron-hand. The people were at the receiving end of her evil hand. She successfully executed the agenda of what was expected of her by The Empowerment Party. Her political influence grew strong and she became an A-list political figure in the political scene of South America. As a result of her been successful by her party’s evaluation, she ruled again for the second time; an extended five-year tenure. This time around, however, she was all set to bend the rules her party mandated her to follow and pursue her agenda; gather for herself huge fortunes from the government treasure. After several warnings, she still went ahead to pursue her agenda which neither favoured the people she was ruling nor carry out the plans of the party she was meant to serve. Gloria had no idea her cup was filed and would spill over on her soon.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez Mata was getting himself prepared for the election which he taught would come the following year. Hale and hearty, Rodriguez Mata had become more experienced and political than he was years ago. His new ideologies, though made those who were a part of his party part leave, invited the big-guns who were once the big-guns of The Empowerment Party. Rodriguez changed his party name from the People’s Party to the Allied Political Party. Gloria Garcia was on a threshold of nothing as a political foundation for her now owned The Empowerment Party. To make matters worse, there was an explicit, presented to Rodriguez that contained clear motion images of Gloria Garcia sleeping with the thugs that belonged to the big-guns of his newly formed party. This was the price she paid for to raise the flag of The Empowerment Party.

A year after, Gloria, an incumbent president, taught she could become winner for the third time, regardless of her empty promises to the people. During the election, Rodriguez took the pull by the horn and presented to the public from the Martinez National Stadium and by the local TV and radio stations the sex video of Gloria and what he termed ‘her lovers’. Gloria was almost next to death when her health failed her. Her disqualification became imperative, leaving Rodriguez as the un-opposed presidential candidate. It was up to a week after he subsequently took an oath of office and got sworn in as president did he resume official duties. This time, he attained a synergy based on agreement with his party’s top shots and his cut from what was gotten from generated public revenue.

 Gloria was admitted to the famous Brasilia Hospital for treatment. She was placed under close medical supervision for two weeks. Rodriguez, during his visit to Benefica, Portugal, was asked how he felt about his victory and Gloria’s health concern.

He replied: “this had been a long time coming. This is my destiny! I have come to change the face of Brazilian politics forever! I wish Gloria a speedy recovery. She will be instrumental to the advancement of Brazilian politics. She is a woman of virtue, power and will. I recalled, in one of her interviews after being elected as president to serve a first tenure in office, when she asserted that a man has his will but a woman will always have her way. But I’d like add that when there is a will, there is a way. The fact is that I’m very happy!”

Gloria was watching the live interview in her Santiago home. She later left Brazil incognito to place where nobody knew. Nobody knew whether or not she’s dead or alive. But one fact still remained: Rodriguez Mata is Brazil’s president!
