A World of Wickedness
Franklin knew he was born into a world of wickedness. His father was killed by men of the underworld and his mother, Catherine, raped. This led to his advent to Mother earth. On a very sad note, Franklin was brought into the world with his mother hating and cursing the day she brought to this world a child whose past has a conspicuous negative definition. Franklin saw the world all through his childhood years in the light of wickedness. This mentality continually hunted him to death.
At age three, Catherine abandoned him to the streets at the mercy of the unwanted. Franklin grew up in the streets, made it through school but left school when he could not afford college fees. He enrolled in the army as a private. Served diligently but with the purpose of inflicting evil on others, including his mother that never wished him well, Franklin was given further promotions and sent on world tour for a Specialist Combat Training in Russia. Alas, he would never live to see his Catherine again till death.
Since joining the military, Franklin had been biting what he could not chew. He had been involved in a number of attacks leading to the deaths of many top-ranking military officers. Franklin had no idea that his records were kept and would lead to being fished out by the law of the land. Sent on a special war mission, he was very successful, emerging as one of the best and backed multiple awards. He became a lieutenant, in no time. At this point, Franklin was so full of himself that he saw his junior officers as rats. His junior officers, in order to get back at Franklin, unveiled to their seniors his wrong doings. He was later charged to court and with evidences sentences to five years in prison with hard labour. His properties were confiscated.
On completion of his prison sentence, Franklin was thrown out of the military to start life afresh. Again, he became a part of the street and worse still, joined a notorious robbery gang known as GANG. This group of heartless men and women were so evil-hearted that killing innocent people and absconding with possessions of great worth became their obsession. In no time, Franklin was became the head. With his military training, the GANG terrorized all and sundry, robed people of their monies and sacred possessions, killed many ‘stumbling blocks’ on their way to ‘greatness’. At the height of the glory of GANG, Franklin was on top of the world without knowing the down-side of the parabola would catch up with them.
Some couple of years later, the state metropolitan police was staged to catch the culprits. They engaged the GANG members excluding their leader, Franklin in an open fire. After a cease fire, it was learnt that all GANG members were killed. Now, the bull eye was catch Franklin dead or alive, preferably alive. All security operatives in the state were stationed throughout the state to track down Franklin’s whereabouts. Oblivious of the development, Franklin was on his way to the airport to board a flight en route to South Africa before the long hands of the law caught up with him. He was arrested at the airport, charged to court and tried.
The judge who handled Franklin’s case, based on evidences brought to him and after concrete evaluation and witnessing, was left with no choice than to sentence him to death by hanging. This was the end of the very beginning of Franklin. Where he was to be hanged, the executioner had to wait for some minutes for Franklin to say his last words. Instead of showing a repentant attitude, Franklin did not bat an eyelid when made the statement: “I grew up seeing the world as a wicked place. Indeed, this is a world of wickedness”. After his last words were made, the executioner was called to duty by taking the life of the young man via hanging.
